Individuals can contribute to the VCF by establishing their own fund, making direct donations to existing funds, or supporting specific community initiatives.

Ways to Give

Donations can be made to existing funds managed by the VCF or to your existing donor advised, designated, or nonprofit fund with us.

Contribute Stock, Mutual Funds, or Make ACH/Wire Transfers

  • For instructions on how to send Gifts of Stock, Mutual Funds, ACH/Wire Transfers, fundholders, donors, or their financial representatives/advisors may fill out this form, and a member of the Philanthropy team will send you the information, or contact Jenn Hansen at jhansen@vermontcf.org or 802-388-3355 ext. 295 for more information.

Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA (QCD)

  • QCDs can be used to make charitable donations to certain funds at the Vermont Community Foundation. To learn more about existing funds eligible to receive a QCD, please contact us at philanthropy@vermontcf.org or call 802 388-3355 opt. 5.

    Mail QCD gifts to 3 Court Street, Middlebury, VT 05753. Please note the fund name in the memo.

  • To donate to an existing fund that takes online donations via credit card, explore the funds below and choose “Give to This Fund” to be taken directly to the online donation form for that fund.
