Stowe Rescue Squad: Agency Fund

Stowe Rescue

The Stowe Rescue Squad was formed in 1975 to serve Stowe and its surrounding communities and has consistently been recognized as one of the leading volunteer-based ambulance services in the state.

They are one of more than 120 Vermont nonprofits that have established a charitable fund with the Foundation to support their operating and program expenses. Says Squad Board Member Charlie Burnham, “We chose the Community Foundation because we recognized the benefit of having dedicated professional attention given to the monies donated to us by a generous community. And by joining this group of funds, we are helping to sustain Vermont.”
