Participate in the Good Citizen Coronavirus Challenge

Kaia and Mason Rochester RESIZED

Since 2018, the Good Citizen Challenge has encouraged hundreds of Vermont's K-12 students to participate in civic-themed activities for an opportunity to win prizes and be recognized by Seven Days and its Kids VT publication, the organizers of the initiative. With students stuck at home due to the spread of COVID-19 in Vermont, a new Good Citizen Coronavirus Challenge has been launched to promote safe community engagement during a time of social distancing.

Every Wednesday, a new challenge is announced on the Good Citizen Coronavirus Challenge website. Entries must be submitted by noon on the following Wednesday to be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate from Phoenix Books. At 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, a winner will be drawn during a Facebook Live broadcast through the Kids VT Facebook account. Outstanding entries will also be recognized.
