How to Apply for a Grant

The Vermont Community Foundation hosts competitive grant rounds every year, which are specific to a region of Vermont, or a community within Vermont. We fund programs and operations of qualified nonprofits working in the areas of community vitality, support for youth and families, workforce development and educational pathways, environmental needs, arts and culture and more. If you are interested in learning about our individual grants programs, and searching for the grants that most fit your program or work, visit our Available Grants page.

We also fund within the specific areas of impact and we work with our generous donors to connect them to their areas of interest.

To begin, all grantseekers should create an organizational profile with our Online Grants Center. Tips and instructions to create and account can be found further down on this page.
