Living Long and Living Well: Support for Older Vermonters

People over 60 are Vermont’s fastest growing demographic—a trend that brings both challenges and opportunities. Charitable giving can help older adults maintain independence, share their experience and energy, and stay connected to friends and community. The bonus: Everything we do now to become an age-friendly state will help build the framework to support younger generations when they arrive at their 60s and beyond.

Our new Insight Hub brief shares three actions that should be top-of-mind for charitable individuals who want to support this work.

IN THIS BRIEF DISCOVER:

  • Strategies to help people age in place
  • Interviews with leading thinkers on age-friendly policy and programs
  • Solutions to the epidemic of loneliness

Our Health & Well Being Initiative

Collective efforts now are important to hold people safe and supported and to continue to build the resources, connections, and capacity that Vermont needs.
